Some of my current accomplishments include:

Built the backend application database & data pipelines powering an entire health organization.

Created a data lake for analytical reporting & ML model building using AWS Lake Formation, Glue, Athena & SageMaker.

Established data pipelines between the AWS data lake & Snowflake, administering the networking and security between them, and built ETL for Medicare HCC patient risk scores in Snowflake.

Automated infrastructure & deployments end to end with Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions.

Delivered reporting & visualizations in Tableau and Apache Superset on top of the data lake.

Integrated external healthcare data sources (ModMed, eClinicalWorks & Surgimate) using Mirth and custom Python/JavaScript solutions.

Instrumented AWS services with Datadog & OpenSearch for usage monitoring and error detection.

Was given the opportunity to start Yaro's health analytic's department before the company was acquired by Virgin Pulse. My responsibilities included architecting infrastructure for analytics and creating/automating analysis for better healthcare outcomes.

Established data loads & ETL using AWS Glue & Aurora RDS.

Created the entire mobile app entity relationships for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

Implemented Data Lake System in less than 1 month using AWS Lake Formation.

Initially hired as a Senior Data Scientist but was promoted to lead and create the new Data Engineering & Machine Learning Departments at Infutor in less than 3 months from start date. I was leading the new team based of out of Costa Rica and the United States; implementing a data lake, an operational data base, and putting into production data science models.

Worked for the Marketing Insights Division at Walgreen's optimizing marketing campaigns and creating analytical insights to empower senior management to make more data driven decisions.

Some of my accomplishments included:

Managing terabytes of customer data using Hadoop Hive, H2O.AI, R, & Tableau.

Delivered reports and metrics to different teams using Hive, Spark, Tableau, & Excel.

Modeled multiple campaigns for in store and on line customers For Walgreen, Duane Reade, and its suppliers.

Assigned as a project manager after 4 months of hiring while simultaneously implementing the Cross Industry Standard Proccess for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) in analytical projects throughout the teams.

Developed various prediction & classification models for the Merchandising Department

Carried out large scale geo-spatial analytics using Python, R, & ArcGIS

Sucessfully implemented multiple forecasting & machine learning projects from concept to final implementation.

Worked directly for the Corporate Data Science Team. During my tenure at Brunswick Corporation, I led various advanced analytical projects from start to finish for multiple brands & departments (Lund Boats, Boston Whaler, Mercury Marine, Life Fitness, Corporate HR, and Corporate Finance).

Some of my accomplishments included:

Helped in the creation of Brunswick’s analytic's enablement road map.

Created Brunswick's first analytical deep dive for the human resources department using R, Tableau, and Alteryx for Lund Boats.

Cleaned and merged data using Hadoop Hive SQL, Python Pandas, R, and Alteryx from different sources and formats.

Operationalized Tableau dashboards to help deliver insights and support strategies for senior and executive management.

Developed algorithms and KPI’s to detect employee turnover, customer scoring, marketing, forecasting sales using Sci kit Learn, and R.

Evaluated models before deployment from other internal data analytic teams.

Performed customer targeting for the Life Fitness Division.

Cooperated with finance and Mercury Marine to visualize expenses using Tableau and RShiny.

Trained senior management and provided data visualization workshops in Tableau.

Co-Founded the creation of a tourism based company and expanded it to include healthcare tourism, LGBTQQ friendly tours, hotel magazines, campaign targeting, and tourist transportation & information.

Creating a company with over $300,000 in revenue first year without investors or borrowing capital

Hired a strong team of 17 people that made Ask Me PR a success story.

Expanded operations throughout the entire archipielagoo of Puerto Rico in less than 8 months

Joined with Sprint of Puerto Rico to carry free WIFI for international tourist in various locations.

Established a marketing department for small businesses to reach tourists and locals.

Created a directory website that gathered 5 million plus unique visits per month and was later sold and integrated to infopaginas.com.

Started working as a volunteer in clinical trials for diabetes and hypertension from researchers of Harvard University and the University of Puerto Rico. During my tenure as an analyst I started my path into analytics by learning how to code in SAS, R & Python while learning to implement statistical models that were presented in clinical research papers.

Some of my accomplishments included:

Led the effort to create the biggest participant database in U.P.R.R.C.M. (University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus

Created and revised scientific papers before submission to peer review journals and the National Institute of Health.

Analyzed data in public health research with SAS, R, and Python

Presented scientific research paper analyzing caffeine consumption, blood pressure, and hypertension that won 1st place in undergraduate symposium.

Interviewed clinical trial participants and later analyzed reports for later dissemination to principal investigators.
